Yes, but you must first contact Cxeny customer service or consult a professional electrical engineer before series or parallel connection. Only batteries of the same model/capacity are allowed, with a maximum configuration of 4S4P. Series connection increases voltage (2x12V=24V), and parallel connection expands capacity (2x100Ah=200Ah).
It is recommended to use the dedicated lithium battery charger provided by CXENY for higher charging efficiency and battery protection; if using an existing lead-acid charger, you must confirm that the output voltage/current matches (voltage error ≤2V, current ≤20A). Mismatch may result in slow charging or battery damage.
CXENY lithium batteries are equipped with a 200A intelligent BMS protection system, supporting: ① Overcharge/over-discharge protection; ② Overcurrent/short circuit protection; ③ High temperature/low temperature protection; ④ Overvoltage/undervoltage protection; ⑤ Reverse connection protection, with no explosion risk.
The IP rating describes the battery's dust and water resistance performance. IP65 means the battery is completely dust-tight and can withstand low-pressure water jets from any direction. It is suitable for rainy, splashing, and humid environments but cannot be submerged in water. IP67 provides a higher level of protection. In addition to being dust-tight, it allows the battery to be temporarily submerged in 1 meter (approximately 3 feet) of water for 30 minutes. IP67 batteries are more suitable for harsh environments where accidental water ingress or heavy splashing may occur. Neither rating indicates that the battery should be intentionally submerged in water for a long time, but IP67 can better withstand accidental water ingress.
ABS and SPCC cases meet different installation needs. ABS is a high-strength engineering plastic with advantages such as light weight, corrosion resistance, and electrical insulation. It is often used in occasions requiring high light weight and moisture resistance. SPCC is a cold-rolled steel material with higher mechanical strength and impact resistance. It is often used in fixed installations requiring high structural rigidity, fire resistance, and long-term durability. Both materials can effectively protect the internal battery, and the choice depends more on the installation environment than performance.
Home Energy Storage Series
Yes, but only if the inverter supports the correct battery voltage and charging curve, and preferably the same communication protocol. Cxeny 48V solar batteries are specifically designed to work with existing inverters and provide adjustable charging voltage and current limits. If your existing inverter is an older grid-tied inverter without battery terminals, it cannot be directly connected to any energy storage battery. In this case, you need to add a separate battery inverter or upgrade to a hybrid inverter compatible with Cxeny 48V lithium batteries.
There are two practical methods. The simplest way is to check your electricity bill: divide the monthly electricity consumption (kWh) by 30 to get the average daily electricity consumption (kWh), then decide how much of the electricity consumption you want the battery to cover (e.g., 30% to 70%). A more accurate method is to list the main loads: lighting, refrigerator, router, water pump, air conditioner, etc. Record their power (watts) and daily operating time, and add them up to get the daily energy consumption (kWh). When determining the capacity of Cxeny batteries, you need to divide the target capacity by the available energy of each battery. For example, a Cxeny 48V100Ah battery has approximately 5120Wh of available energy at 80% depth of discharge, then round up.
Wall-mounted batteries, such as Cxeny's 48V100Ah battery, are designed to be mounted on walls to save floor space. They are ideal for small to medium-sized systems, single-room installations, or garages with wall space. Stackable batteries adopt a modular housing or cabinet, placed on the ground, and multiple modules can be stacked vertically. This form is very suitable for occasions requiring larger capacity, easy ground maintenance, or centralized battery rooms. Both use lithium iron phosphate batteries and intelligent battery management systems electrically. The choice mainly depends on the capacity scale, room layout, and service convenience.
Golf Cart Series
CXENY golf cart-specific lithium batteries are designed for the frequent start-stop and short-distance high-frequency use scenarios of golf carts. Structurally, they adopt a lightweight cell combination (weight is only 1/3 of lead-acid batteries of the same capacity), with a reinforced shell that is shockproof and short-circuit proof, compatible with 99% of mainstream golf cart brands on the market (Club Car/EZGO/Yamaha). Before purchasing, please confirm: ① The battery voltage matches the golf cart (36V/48V exclusive models); ② The battery compartment size is consistent with the reserved space of the golf cart; ③ The charging interface is compatible with the original interface of the golf cart. If you are unsure about the model compatibility, you can provide the golf cart model to contact customer service, and we will match the exclusive model for you.
Are there any precautions during use? Installation is not complicated. CXENY golf cart lithium batteries adopt a "Plug & Play" design, compatible with the original interface of the golf cart, with supporting dedicated connecting wires and installation manual. The whole process can be completed in 3 steps: ① Remove the original lead-acid battery of the golf cart (note the distinction between positive and negative poles); ② Connect the CXENY lithium battery to the positive and negative interfaces of the golf cart to ensure a firm connection; ③ Fix the battery in the golf cart battery compartment, no need to modify the circuit or use professional tools, and it can be completed in 10 minutes. Precautions for use: ① Avoid frequent sudden acceleration and braking of the golf cart to reduce battery loss; ② Use the dedicated CXENY charger for charging, avoid mixing with lead-acid chargers; ③ When not in use for a long time, charge the battery to 50%-70%, store it in a dry and ventilated place, and recharge it every 3 months.
Use the LCD screen switch button or the battery side switch, no need to open the seat. The battery must be turned on for charging (BMS blocks charging when turned off). No need to lift the seat.
Direct replacement for Club Car, EZGO, Yamaha 48V/36V lead-acid batteries. Same size, M8 terminals, no need to modify the controller.
